GCSE Maths Path to Success:

The Complete Revision Programme

A 10-month, complete online revision programme, designed specifically

for students taking Foundation GCSE maths in summer 2025.

Doors to our Complete Revision Programme are closing in

Does this sound like you?

• You worry about your child's future (all the time!).

• You want your child to succeed in their GCSEs so they can move on to bigger, better things!

• You don't want your child to have to continue to study maths at college because they didn't get a Grade 4 at GCSE.

• You don't know how to help them get the maths grade they need.

• You know they could achieve so much more if they put more effort in or had the right support!

Does this sound like your son or daughter?

• They struggle with maths at school and don't enjoy maths lessons because of it.

• They think they are 'no good at maths'.

• They didn't do as well as they could have in their end of Year 10 mock maths exams.

• They haven't yet realised how much work they have to do to pass maths GCSE next summer.

• They aren't motivated to do any maths revision in their spare time, and probably don't appreciate being told to!

• They didn't achieve a Grade 4 in their GCSE exams this summer and need to resit next year.

What if things could be different?

Your child gains new maths confidence month on month

Using a done-for-you revision timetable which focuses on one topic area per month, students can really get to grips with those topics and learn how to answer all kinds of tricky exam questions.

They know where they can go for maths revision and support

A dedicated place to find on-demand topic videos and supplementary questions, PLUS online live sessions and weekly drop-in sessions mean students don't need to wait to ask questions!

They are fully prepared for their GCSE maths exams with time to spare!

Rounding off all individual topic revision by mid-March leaves 3 months to bring it all together and focus on exam preparation and technique - a great position to be in for fine-tuning!

If you’re finding yourself nodding along to all this, you’re not alone…

There's no doubt about it. Year 11 is tough - for everyone!

The average Year 11 student takes 8 GCSE subjects. That means they have more than 2 years of information to take in, remember, apply and use in their final GCSEs... multiplied by 8! And we haven't even thought about how many exams each subject has...

Which is why I’m so excited to open the doors to this year's

GCSE Maths Path to Success:

The Complete Revision Programme

Our GCSE Maths Path to Success programme is a complete revision programme for students studying for Foundation Maths GCSE in summer 2025.

Instead of leaving everything to the last few months or weeks, our revision programme starts in September 2024 and runs all the way through to June 2025 meaning there is enough time for revision to be thorough, broken down into manageable chunks and there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and solve problems!

We've taken the complete list of Foundation Maths topics and spread them over 10 months - each month has a theme and there is a good dose of exam prep and practice in there too.

Really, it's just a 10-month long revision timetable already done for you - but you won't have to do the revision alone!

Each month, students will have access to a new module and will be able to work their way through the topics during that month, at their own pace and whenever is convenient for them.

We are big on implementation - and leaving enough time for it is what most people forget to do! The only way to learn maths is to do maths - that's why our programme includes worked examples to follow along with, plus lots of questions to have a go at yourself.

[Please note: past exam paper questions have been picked from exam boards AQA, Edexcel and OCR, and our exam prep modules are designed using only AQA, Edexcel and OCR past papers. At this time, therefore, we do not advise enrolment for students doing GCSE maths through different exam boards.]

Here’s what you’ll get each month when you join:

01

Pep talk and action plan

Download 'The Big Picture' mind map for the month's topic to see what's included, and then use the Learning Pathway to decide how you are going to tackle this month's topic.

One Tuesday every month, we will run a live group tuition session covering topics for that month. We will cover exam style questions so you can put your independent work into action!

See what last year's cohort thought of our programme:

Maths is not one of my daughter's best subjects but the course has improved her confidence as it has allowed her to work at a pace that suits her and go back to the videos at different times during her revision."

— Parent

The programme is a logical progression through the syllabus in preparation for GCSEs.

— Parent

She liked how Hannah explained things and the feedback from exam practice was positive but included areas to improve which was really helpful."

Your tutor...

"Tutoring maths was an opportunity to use my maths skills after finishing my maths degree back in 2008; I immediately loved the satisfaction of seeing my tutees progress with their maths and feel more confident in school maths lessons... so I carried on and set up Mathematical Minds Tuition!

Over 15 years down the line and now supported by a team of fantastic tutors, we are able to help even more students, particularly after a very disruptive and disjointed few years by working on their maths understanding, boosting their confidence and prepping their study skills to really excel at GCSE!

Trying to find the motivation and determination to succeed can be overwhelming - there's just SO much to learn and revise. I'm a huge believer in students being prepared to put in the effort and taking responsibility for their learning, because I know if they do, they can really surprise themselves!

I'm really excited about this year's programme and am very much looking forward to working with the students who enrol, helping them boost their confidence and giving them the support and encouragement they need to get their maths revision started early, so they can iron out any issues quickly and push themselves to get the best grade they can next summer!"

FAQs

How will I know when the live sessions are?

At the start of each month, members will receive an email with the dates of the live tuition sessions and drop-in sessions for that month, as well as how to join and how to submit questions in advance.

How much time will my child need to spend on this per month?

There's not a simple answer here - it depends! Some months might require less revision for your child if that particular topic is one of their strengths, and other months might require more if it is a weakness.

We have made our topic videos short and easy to understand to assist with the 'little and often' approach. It may take a few weeks for your child to get used to how much time they need to put aside for this programme - depending on their revision style, they may prefer to do half an hour per day, or 1 hour three times a week. As we encourage our students to take responsibility for their own learning, they will soon realise what works best for them!

Which exam boards do you cater for?

As at September 2024, past exam paper questions used throughout our programme have been picked from exam boards AQA, Edexcel and OCR, and our exam prep modules are designed using only AQA, Edexcel and OCR past papers. At this time, therefore, we do not advise enrolment for students doing GCSE maths through different exam boards.

Will this programme guarantee my child passes their maths GCSE?

It would be brilliant if this was a certain yes! But unfortunately it is not (and we don't believe that anyone can guarantee this confidently!). We ask that when students enrol in our programme, they go all in and decide that they are the ones that are going to make it happen.

We have provided all they need for their revision - material, exam questions, ongoing tutor support right through to their exams - and it is up to them to use it to their advantage and get the most from the programme!

What if I can't make a live session?

Don't worry! All live sessions will be recorded and uploaded into the members' area for everyone to re-watch at their own convenience.

Is there a payment plan option?

Yes! You can spread the cost over 3 months or 6 months. You will see this option when you click through to 'Join the programme'.

Is there any 1-2-1 tuition included in this programme?

No, this programme doesn't include any 1-2-1 tuition. All members are invited to join our live sessions.

Students who submit questions into our 'Ask the tutor' hours will however receive individual explanations and / or worked answers.
